Tholley Clark Taylor

Mr. Taylor is a 1998 graduate of Leon High School in Tallahassee and 2001 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Upon graduation from Mid-America College, he was inducted into the Mu Sigma Alpha Fraternity and was a recipient of the President’s Restorative Art Award. He is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee and Tallahassee Northside Rotary Club. Tholley also dedicates much of his winter coaching City League Youth Basketball. He enjoys playing sports with his children, deer & turkey hunting, fishing the flats and boating with his family. Tholley began his career in funeral service in 1998 while attending college and obtained his license in 2001. He has worked for a variety of funeral homes from large conglomerates to small town operations in multiple states. He resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Sarah, two sons, Leo and Waylon, and daughter, Clark Suzanne.

Sarah Bevis Taylor
Vice President; Pre Planning Counselor
Sarah is a native and lifelong resident of Tallahassee. Her grandfather, Russell Bevis founded Bevis Funeral Home in 1964 and she grew up in the funeral business. She graduated from Leon High School in 1999 and received her Bachelor’s from FSU in 2004. Sarah was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority at FSU. She is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, the PTO at Gilchrist Elementary, and volunteers for Big Bend Hospice. Every summer she also volunteers her time as a teacher at Faith Presbyterian Vacation Bible School. Tholley and Sarah were married in 2006 and now have three beautiful children, Leo, Waylon, and Clark Suzanne. Sarah enjoys traveling, the beach, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and most of all watching her three children grow up. Ashli was born in Quincy, Florida where she taught in public and private schools before becoming a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to her two wonderful children, Emmil and Elise. She is currently enrolled at St. Petersburg College and working toward obtaining her degree in mortuary science. She was a scout leader for seven years, has written three books on pregnancy, recorded a Christian CD, and is ecstatic to be on the worship team at New Philadelphia Presbyterian Church. In her spare time she enjoys going on mission trips, reading, soap making, creating stained glass windows, learning Korean, and cherishing her husband, Bubba with whom she has been for 30 amazing years.
Erica was born and raised in Lake Placid, Florida and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. She graduated in 2001 and began teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Hawks Rise Elementary School. After the birth of her children, Kinleigh and E.N, she changed career paths to allow her family to remain her top focus. Erica enjoys volunteering her time within her children’s classrooms and with her church. She loves to travel with family and friends, loves cheering E.N. on in his youth league sports and watching Kinleigh act and dance.
Lamar was born and raised in Greensboro, Florida. He graduated from Greensboro High School in 1975 and retired from the Gadsden County School system in June 2007 after 32 years of dedicated service. He is a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Greensboro and is actively involved with the town council of Greensboro and the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Dept. Lamar enjoys his family and fellowship with his church family. He has been married to his wife, Karen for 25 years. He and Karen have two sons and have been blessed with two granddaughters, Peyton Elizabeth and Madelyn.
